A had a nice chat with Lanea Stagg, author of Recipe Records – A Culinary Tribute To The Beatles and a couple of other musically-themed cookbooks on BlogTalkRadio this afternoon. Lanea’s cookbooks come highly recommended and she recently discussed some recipes from The Beatles book as a guest on Dennis Mitchell’s Breakfast With The Beatles including her “Helter Skelter Skillet” and “I Am The Eggs, Man!” My favorite though is the “Strawberry Pie Forever” – scrumptious! It came out a little runny the first time I made it but still tasted good – and now I know what I did wrong. She does have a store on her website where you can get more info and purchase your own copy of that one or any of her other books if you like.

So as a guest on her live show we didn’t get too detailed into Beatles lore or anything. She mainly wanted to focus on me getting into The Beatles at an early age and some background about starting up The Beatles Rarity website which was a pleasure to share with her. The show is about a half-hour and she brings me on after about 5 or 6 minutes and immediately hits me up with “How did you get hooked on The Beatles?”. Check it out here if you like.

Amazon links for any of your favorite Beatles-related music: The Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
